Presentation of the Moroccan Association of Artificial Intelligence and Applied Mathematics (A2MIA)
The Moroccan Association of Artificial Intelligence and Applied Mathematics (A2MIA) is a scientific and professional organization dedicated to the promotion, development, and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and applied mathematics in Morocco and beyond.
A2MIA aims to serve as a national platform that brings together researchers, academics, engineers, students, and industry professionals who share a common interest in advanced computational methods, mathematical modeling, data science, and intelligent systems. By fostering collaboration between universities, research centers, public institutions, and the private sector, the association contributes to strengthening Morocco’s scientific ecosystem and technological innovation capacity.
The association’s core mission is to advance research, education, and practical applications of artificial intelligence and applied mathematics. A2MIA encourages interdisciplinary approaches that combine mathematical theory with real-world applications in areas such as machine learning, optimization, finance, engineering, climate modeling, health, smart cities, and industrial systems.
A2MIA actively organizes and supports scientific conferences, workshops, seminars, training programs, and summer schools aimed at enhancing skills and knowledge transfer. These activities provide opportunities for young researchers and students to engage with leading experts, present their work, and develop professional networks at both national and international levels.
In addition, the association promotes ethical, responsible, and sustainable use of artificial intelligence, in alignment with international standards and local socio-economic priorities. By contributing to policy dialogue and public awareness, A2MIA seeks to ensure that AI-driven innovation supports inclusive development and addresses Morocco’s strategic challenges.
Through its initiatives, partnerships, and community-driven approach, the Moroccan Association of Artificial Intelligence and Applied Mathematics plays a key role in positioning Morocco as an emerging hub for AI research, applied mathematics, and digital transformation in Africa and the Mediterranean region.

Fondateur et visionnaire en chef, Tony est le moteur de l'association. Il aime rester engagé dans le développement de projets de recherche innovants et de partenariats stratégiques.

Mich adore relever des défis. Fort de son expérience de plusieurs années en tant que directeur de recherche dans le domaine de l'IA, Mich a aidé l'association à atteindre ses objectifs scientifiques. Mich fait partie des meilleurs esprits en mathématiques appliquées.
Trésorier de l'association
Marie est une chercheuse emblématique. On peut dire qu'elle passionne les esprits curieux. Elle encadre plus de 100 chercheurs et s'occupe de la communauté de milliers de scientifiques.
CFO de l'association
Grâce à son expérience internationale, Iris nous aide à analyser les données et à les interpréter. Elle est déterminée à faire avancer la recherche et met ses compétences au service de l'association.
